Dr. Levens' primary mission is to provide personalized, high-quality care on an as-needed and preventative basis. We have created a small personal family practice that we believe to be the best approach to patient care consisting of individualized, compassionate health benefits.
We are a full-service medical practice of a dedicated and experienced physician/wife team who believe in working with you to maintain and improve your health and happiness. Our team will work together to serve your entire family for all your medical needs in all stages of life. We believe in providing comprehensive health care services to our patients in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in a newly built, state-of-the-art private facility. We also believe in educating our patients as we work with them to achieve the best physical, emotional, and spiritual state possible. We will provide a flexible schedule where the doctor can perform a non-rushed, stress-free environment for medical and counseling needs.
Dr. Levens is board certified family physician by the American Board of Family Medicine and comes to this practice with >15 years of experience in Naples, Florida. At his previous hospital-based medical practice, Dr. Levens had a >98% patient satisfaction survey rate for 10 years uninterrupted.
Dr. Levens has a summa cum laude degree in Exercise Science, a medical degree from St. George's University, and was trained at Cambridge University, Yale University Hospital, and Mt. Sinai. He was Chief Resident at Columbia University Residency Program.
Melissa Levens, ARNP, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner trained in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, and Women's Health. She provides medical care and women's health, including skin checks, dietary counseling, available medical counseling, PAP, and breast exams, to name a few of her capacities here at NFP. She applies both a traditional medical approach as well as a Functional Medicine approach. She completed extensive training at St. Joseph's University, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, St. Vincent's Medical Center, Stamford Hospital, and Quinnipiac University.
Our medical practice has a small intimate set of hospitalist physicians with whom Dr. Levens has worked for 15+ years. We are affiliated with all the local hospitals. Personal relationships with the ER physicians as well as the nurses allow an open dialog. Close relationships with our hospitalist team and local specialists allow for daily discussion and a team approach.
